Emergency Relief Fund for Myanmar Cyclone
 

Summary of Cyclone Relief Effort


Plan: To Rebuild the community one by one from village to village.

Projects:
Phase 1 - Basic Needs Supply

                (Food, water, clothing, medical supplies)
Phase 2 - To support Reconstruction

                (Sanitation and water supply systems)
Phase 3 - Rebuilding for Homes and Schools

Team:  Myanmar Regional Committee Members of The Society and Volunteers

Phase 1 – Basic Needs Supply (Food, Water, Clothing, Medical supplies)

                Total 12 villages, Population about 5000

Food Supplies:          Rice bags        780 (110 lbs per bag)

                                Beans              50 bags (60 viss per bag)

                                Vermicelli         4500 bags

                                Salt                  2500 bags

                                Ngapi Htaung  5000 boxes

                                Onion               980 viss

                                Garlic               450 viss

                                Hta Nyat          700 viss

                                Biscuits            10 lakhs kyats

School projects: 8 Schools completed and re-opened

                School uniforms – 765 suits
